In Reykjavik, you can also go on midnight sun whale watching, dolphin watching, and seabird spotting tours.

Island hopping in Lofoten

Go island hopping and witness the staggering beauty these untamed islands offer. Travel by scheduled boats, or rent your own for a much more personal experience. Renting a kayak or a canoe is also a great way to travel around these parts. Lofoten is known for frequently being affected by both the northern lights and the midnight sun. Due to the Gulf Stream, this place is a lot warmer than other parts of the world at the same latitude, which means the fishing opportunities around this area are excellent, and the region is known for its many small and cozy fishing villages.
